Reduce Inflation to 0%
This proposal is designed to solicit community feedback on the idea of eliminating voting rewards, with the aim of reducing the inflation rate from its current 2.5% per annum to 0%.
Notably, there are already a few DAOs, such as Dragginz and Sneed, that have successfully disabled voting rewards, demonstrating that such rewards are not essential for the effective operation of a DAO. Moreover, Gold DAO operates with a very low voting reward rate, further exemplifying that high rewards are not a prerequisite for active and effective community engagement.
By proposing to disable these rewards within our DAO, we aim to assess the potential for preserving and possibly enhancing the token's long-term value by preventing unnecessary inflation.
