Modclub DAO Proposal for Q2 2024 Funding and Roadmap
Proposal Summary: The Modclub Foundation presents this funding proposal, designed to elevate our impact and reach for Q2 2024. This proposal seeks approval from the Modclub DAO to allocate 38,000 ICP from the Modclub Treasury to The Modclub Foundation for covering essential expenses during Q2 2024.

Dfinity Internet Identity Attribute Sharing Issuer Implementation:
- Modclub completed its integration and became the first issuer of the new Internet Identity Verified Credentials attribute sharing feature.

- Contributed to DeAI group to showcase our progress of on chain AI.

- These repositories are intended to enable Python developers to design and train models in Python and effortlessly deploy those models within canisters on the internet computer

AI Facial Recognition for Proof of Uniqueness:
- Testing phase of AI model training for Modclubs Proof of Uniqueness product complete and ready for PoH.

Rebranding and repositioning:
- Implementing UX/UI and brand overhaul of the Modclub platform to enhance usability, responsiveness, and create a cohesive design, ready to be released at the end of Q1.

Team Expansion:
- Modclub expanded its team, adding a new Director of Product.
Q2 2024 Roadmap and Milestones:
- Centralised Exchanges: Modclub aims to be listed on Centralised Exchanges in Q2, talks with major exchanges have begun, as we have gotten increased interest after our CoinMarketCap tracked listing.
- Marketing: Modclub is currently in talks with major Web3 Marketing Agencies, and will be signing a contract by end of Q1. This marketing push will be in line with our new rebrand and repositioning to be announced, and the push to get MOD on Centralised Exchanges.
- AI Product Development: With Modclubs upcoming rebrand, the development of new products related to new initiatives is an increasing focus. The team will continue research and development on fine tuning LLM models as a service.
- ICPCC: Modclub will be attending and presenting our AI related research at ICPCC 2024.
- Ethereum: Modclub aims to work on an ethereum wallet integration and wrapped token launch. We believe this will benefit both Modclub and our community, exposing us to a greater market.
- Team Expansion: Modclub aims to expand its AI engineering teams during Q2 2024 to drive innovation and focus on our new AI direction

These expenses are critical for the sustained growth and development of Modclub, including operational costs, team salaries, legal and compliance fees, and strategic investments.

- 4 Core Developers (3 full stack, 1 frontend)

- 1 Operations Manager
- 1 UX/UI Designer

Marketing and Social Media Agency
- Marketing campaigns, advertising, and promotional activities to increase Modclubs visibility and user base. Modclub aims to focus on SEO optimization, to attract moderators and partners and focus on our upcoming rebrand and centralised exchange listing.

AI Model Training
- Costs for Modclubs Proof of Uniqueness AI facial recognition model. This includes training on diverse datasets and fine-tuning to improve performance.
- Implementing continual learning techniques to adapt the model to evolving facial characteristics and conditions.

Legal Fees:
- Legal services required for compliance, regulatory matters, contractual obligations, and employment contracts.

Third-Party Services:
- Costs related to third-party tools, technologies, and services necessary for Modclubs seamless operation (ex. Cygnus, Notion, Request, Wave, DocSend, Deel, AWS…)

HR/Operations:
- Operational expenses, including HR-related costs, office space, and administrative overhead.
- General operational expenses to support the day-to-day functions of a remote team, including tools, software, and communication platforms that facilitate remote collaboration.

Recruiting Fees:
- Working with an outside agency to recruit engineering, product and business development talent to expand the Modclub team.

The funding will be disbursed in a manner aligned with the Q2 2024 timeline, with periodic reports to the DAO on the progress and allocation of funds.
