Introducing Toolkit

Amidst everything going on within the ICP<>SNS ecosystem, we've noticed a large segment of users that aren’t sure how to proceed with maintaining SNS projects: keeping canister versions up to date, managing treasury assets, or even creating a motion proposal.

Given SNS projects are such a pivotal focus of the ecosystem - that should be able to operate without dependancy on any party - this is a great opportunity to talk about how the community can fill this void with Toolkit’s SNS Management module:

Toolkit offers a project management solution, enabling anyone to interact with SNS projects through an intuitive dashboard to maintain operations; voting, managing canisters, utilizing treasury management actions and most prominently, no-code proposal creation.

All proposal types, from technical to motion, can be created with ease by assigning a Toolkit hotkey to a neuron within the NNS. This neuron can then be utilized by you within the Toolkit Dashboard to create proposals by selecting the type and inputting parameters or uploading the .wasm of a canister.

Toolkit will also release enterprise solutions for SNS Management in the near future, including; Payroll Management, Bookkeeping Solutions, Event Notifications, advanced Treasury Management, Governance Transparency & Canister Tooling - which will increase transparency & accountability within SNS projects.

We've partnered with Konecta to provide Missions on Toolkit - rewarding your introduction to Toolkit and it's features, alongside your governance activities, with $ICP and Toolkit Points:

• Hotkey a Neuron: Navigate to this proposal within Toolkit, select "Add Neuron", and paste the provided hotkey as your Neuron's Hotkey within the NNS. This will enable all other features & missions within Toolkit.
• Vote on Toolkit: Navigate to this proposal on Toolkit, and cast your vote.
• Favourite an SNS: Favourite an SNS in the tab on the navigation bar.
• Save a Proposal Draft: Navigate to an SNS, "Create a Proposal", input information, and "Save as Draft".
• Create a Proposal: Navigate to an SNS, "Create a Proposal", input information, "Review and Submit", then "Submit".
• Signup for Email Notifications: Navigate to "Email Updates" in the navigation bar, input email address & subscribe.
• Mission Completion Post: Navigate to "pre.konecta.one", claim Mission rewards, and begin the task "Completion Tweet".
