Kinic DAO Grant Proposal
This proposal requests 30,000 ICP from the Kinic Treasury to fund the Kinic Developer Organization (KDO) operations for Q2 2026.
2026 Q1 In Review

- Released a TUI this allows developers and their agents to directly use Kinic's tech
- Both products are actively used by web2 and web3 startups
While Kinic remains a first mover in the web3 AI memory space, competition is emerging, validating our approach.
Competitive Advantage
Competitors rely on TEE and hardware-based approaches, which are vulnerable to attacks and require centralized, specialized hardware. Kinic leverages ICP and advanced cryptography, including zero-knowledge proofs applied to machine learning, providing a more secure and decentralized solution.
KDO has partnered with a major AI lab to expand Kinic's distribution. Context is king for useful AI agents. Kinic lets users own their context.
Strategic Integrations
We're collaborating with the ERC-8004 and Coinbase teams on x402 integrations. x402 enables autonomous agent-to-agent payments for Kinic memory services, supporting USDC, ETH, and bridged KINIC. All settlements process through KINIC, which acts as an exchange for Cycles to provision and maintain AI memory canisters.

1. Token Performance
KDO maintains ongoing discussions with investors, exchanges, DAOs, and potential institutional buyers.
2025 Treasury Activity:
- 20,000 ICP allocated to liquidity and buybacks
- 20,000 ICP allocated to CEX listings and market making
- 10,000 ICP allocated to DAO developer grants.
- Total treasury deployment: 50,000 ICP
- Successfully executed token burn proposals to reduce supply by 250,000 KINIC (the total of inflation so far)
2026 Treasury Activity:
- 20,000 10,000 ICP allocated to DAO developer grants.
- 30,000 ICP to be allocated to DAO developer grants, or token buy backs for bridging.
We've maintained a HODL ICP approach while building core technology and distribution channels. We expect higher than average burn this quarter, with another flatline in DAO grants as our products are deployed and used in production systems.
2. User Acquisition
We've learned that general consumers don't prioritize AI memory. They prefer all-in-one solutions. However, technical users (developers, vibe coders, computer-savvy individuals) immediately understand the value proposition.
With the Kinic Python Client and TUI release, we target technical power users more effectively. Adding payment features in their preferred tokens will accelerate growth across web2 and web3 markets.
Q2 2026 Focus
This 30,000 ICP grant will support the team as we focus on:
- Building features requested by users.
- Agent WIKI feature. Moving from just 'RAG' via a vectorDB into a multiprong memory system.
- Achieving our growth milestone for 2026: $10 KINIC price with $100k+ daily organic volume.
