Happy birthday ICP! Let’s celebrate 2 years since Genesis!




On May 11th, 2021, the ICP token was launched, and over the past two years our community has accomplished significant milestones and overcome many obstacles:

- The network has grown to over 250k canisters and 1.8 billion blocks. There have been over 5.8 million ICP token transactions, and the NNS has processed over 115k proposals!

- DFINITY has released industry-changing features such as Threshold ECDSA, HTTP outcalls, BTC integration, ETH integration, 48GB canister stable memory, and the SNS.

- OpenChat became the first fully decentralized self-governed DAO in history through an SNS sale that raised over $5.5 million worth of ICP in under 5 hours.

- With over 100,000 unique accounts and 14k daily active users, DSCVR became the largest decentralized social network.

- The Internet Computer earns strong rankings on the charts for developer growth and activity in the Electric Capital report, and DFINITY has delivered over 242 grants to projects across the ecosystem.

DFINITY has hosted many great events to celebrate the ICP community. Now, we’re coming together as a community to host the **[ICP Community Conference](https://twitter.com/icp_cc)** to celebrate the incredible technology that the DFINITY Foundation created: the Internet Computer.

It’s our turn as ecosystem participants to show appreciation, celebrate wins, and invite others to explore what’s possible on the Internet Computer!

While other networks during this bear market are dead and quiet, our ecosystem continues to top the charts in Github commits, host more Twitter Spaces and livestreams than anyone can keep track of, and passionately debate NNS proposals.

In the spirit of this, we invite you to celebrate the birthday of the IC by voting to **reject** this proposal! 

- You can vote to **reject** because it’s not based on an actionable NNS governance topic. We understand and applaud you for that, and we hope you’ll continue your efforts as diligent and strict NNS participants who fight bloat in motion proposals.
