Chain-key EURC (ckEURC), a multi-chain EURC twin on the Internet Computer, is an ICRC-1-compliant token that is backed 1:1 by EURC such that 1 ckEURC can always be redeemed for 1 EURC and vice versa. The ckETH minter canister is responsible for both minting ckEURC tokens when users transfer EURC to its control and burning ckEURC when handling EURC retrieval requests. ckEURC transactions are facilitated through a ledger canister, which in conjunction with archive canisters, tracks ckEURC account balances and transaction history between accounts. An index canister provides access to ckEURC transactions associated with individual accounts.
