Chain-key XAUT (ckXAUT), a multi-chain XAUT twin on the Internet Computer, is an ICRC-1-compliant token that is backed 1:1 by XAUT such that 1 ckXAUT can always be redeemed for 1 XAUT and vice versa. The ckETH minter canister is responsible for both minting ckXAUT tokens when users transfer XAUT to its control and burning ckXAUT when handling XAUT retrieval requests. ckXAUT transactions are facilitated through a ledger canister, which in conjunction with archive canisters, tracks ckXAUT account balances and transaction history between accounts. An index canister provides access to ckXAUT transactions associated with individual accounts.
