Chain-key PEPE (ckPEPE), a multi-chain PEPE twin on the Internet Computer, is an ICRC-1-compliant token that is backed 1:1 by PEPE such that 1 ckPEPE can always be redeemed for 1 PEPE and vice versa. The ckETH minter canister is responsible for both minting ckPEPE tokens when users transfer PEPE to its control and burning ckPEPE when handling PEPE retrieval requests. ckPEPE transactions are facilitated through a ledger canister, which in conjunction with archive canisters, tracks ckPEPE account balances and transaction history between accounts. An index canister provides access to ckPEPE transactions associated with individual accounts.
