Summary
We request the DecideAI DAO to allocate 7,756 ICP (Part 3 of 4) to the Modclub Foundation for research and development in Q3 2025.
This is the first of three proposals for Q3 2025 funding, totaling 55,000 ICP across all parts. In Q2 2025, DecideAI delivered substantial technical and ecosystem milestones, building on our Q1 roadmap. We deployed a production-grade on-chain facial recognition model, integrated OpenID Connect (OIDC) for seamless decentralized login, released high-performance tooling to the Rust and IC developer communities, and made breakthrough optimizations to on-chain AI inference.
Q2 Key Achievements
1. DecideID Model (Production-Ready Release)
- Deployed a state-of-the-art facial recognition model entirely on-chain.
- Achieved up to 6× performance gains over InsightFace in AUC and precision.
- Enables robust Sybil resistance, spam prevention, and one-person-one-account enforcement across Web3.
2. OIDC Integration
- Integrated DecideID as a fully compliant OpenID Connect (OIDC) identity provider.
- Any dApp can now plug in decentralized, verifiable proof-of-humanity login in minutes.
- Released full documentation and developer guide.
3. ic-file-uploader Rust Crate
- Built and published a high-performance uploader for files on the Internet Computer.
- Achieved upload speeds of 0.31 MB/s (IC) and 3.5 MB/s (local) using client-side parallelization.
4. Protocol-Level Research & Optimization
- Integrated AMD AOCL-BLIS into WasmTime runtime for matrix math acceleration.
- Achieved 4× cheaper and 8× faster ML inference on-chain.
5. ResearchGPT-2 Quality Enhancements
- Developed a novel method combining Chain-of-Thought (CoT) prompting and token compression.
- Demonstrated GPT-3 quality outputs from a smaller GPT-2 model.
Q3 2025 Goals (Part 1 Focus)
This first funding tranche will support:
- Deployment of Cutting-Edge Proprietary LLM: Introduce a state-of-the-art proprietary Large Language Model (LLM) that boasts a remarkable 3x improvement in quality, significantly enhancing the capabilities of our AI ecosystem.
- Payment Gateway Development: Build payment gateway for developers to pay for POH using DCD.
- On-Chain Uniqueness Model: Fully integrate on-chain uniqueness model to replace off-chain functionality.
- Advanced Liveness Detection: Develop and integrate a cutting-edge, proprietary liveness detection system to ensure the highest level of security and authenticity in user interactions.
- Core Infrastructure: Support ongoing development and infrastructure costs.
- Team Operations: Maintain core team operations and development capacity.
